Winning Wednesdays

The Democratic Club of Leisure World works to boost turnout of Democratic voters beyond our community. (We already have the highest voter turnout in Maryland!) We do this by writing letters and postcards to Democratic voters in close races to encourage them to vote. Recent elections where we helped include the special election to replace disgraced George Santos in New York, and the 2023 elections in Virginia won by Democratic candidates. The 2024 election promises to provide many opportunities.

Winning Wednesdays meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month where club members write letters/postcards, or pick up a packet to work from home. All costs are covered by the club.
